Sell
Unwanted, broken or out-of-date jewellery can be sold rather than left in a drawer. We assess it in the shop and explain the offer.
Our jewellery services
Looking after and maintaining your jewellery is a vital part of our service as a high street jeweller. Professional work is carried out on the premises by fully trained goldsmiths, using ethically sourced materials.
Our expert on-site and partner goldsmiths provide repair and restore services for all jewellery types, from ring sizing, chain breaks, fastening repairs and replacements, stone setting and claw work, and much more.
Bring the piece in and we will tell you what is possible before any work starts. If a job is better handled with a partner workshop, we will say so.
We provide a bespoke design service, whether it is remodelling an existing family or heritage piece, or a tailored order designed step by step just for you. Wedding rings and engagement rings are a particular pleasure to make this way. The options are endless.
Step 1
A style you love, stones you already own, a budget, or a piece that needs a new life.
Step 2
We work through metal, setting and stones with you, so the drawing matches what you pictured.
Step 3
The piece is made to the agreed design, then checked on the hand, ear or neck it was meant for.
We pay top prices for your unwanted or broken gold and silver jewellery and items. You can also sell items on approval to return a higher amount, or part-exchange them against another piece that you can love and wear.

Put the value towards something new. This is especially welcome when inherited jewellery is updated into a piece you will actually wear, keeping a loved one’s intention to be remembered.
The items themselves, and a little time. There is no need to know the carat or the maker — that is our side of the counter. Pop in during opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 – 17:00.
Our expert team has an extensive knowledge of jewellery and can provide a detailed valuation for insurance, probate, and family division.
A clear description and value for cover, so a piece is properly protected rather than guessed at.
Valuations prepared when an estate needs jewellery recorded carefully and fairly.
An independent view of value when pieces are being shared between family members.
A watch that has stopped, or a strap that has tired, is often a short visit rather than a project. We fit batteries and straps, and we can talk you through the small range of new watches and the pre-loved premium watches we stock.
